Màfia works at Ayawaso West WUGON NPP as Samuel Kwabena Owusu Amankwah files for appeal over disqualification

The Parliamentary Candidate Hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) at Ayawaso West Wugon Constituency, Hon. Samuel Kwabena Owusu Amankwah has filed an appeal against his disqualification.

According to him, he was disqualified by the vetting committee in the constituency over non-payment of dues which he emphatically insists that such allegations are untrue.

He is there urging the party leadership to look into his appeal and reverse the decision of the vetting committee and allow him to contest the incumbent MP, Seyram Alhassan.

Hon. Samuel Kwabena Owusu Amankwah said this when he filed for an appeal at NPP Headquarters, against his disqualification to contest in the NPP Parliamentary Primaries.

He said, “I’m very surprised at my disqualification because I have never defaulted in paying my dues so how can the vetting committee disqualify me – on what grounds”.

“So I’m here at the Party’s headquarters to file my appeal and I’m actually looking for a review of the decision to disqualify me because it was inappropriate and against the rule of natural justice”, he emphasized.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is yet to come out with its verdict on this appeal, filed by Hon. Samuel Kwabena Owusu Amankwah.
