Twellium Ghana Donates Four Incubators To Health Facilities

Twellium Industrial Company Limited, producers of award-winning bottle water Verna, has donated four incubators to the Ghana Medical Association at a ceremony at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The incubators which cost over two hundred thousand cedis forms part of their corporate social responsibility, would be distributed to some selected hospital facilities across the country.

Speaking to the media in an interview after donating the incubators, the Event Manager at Twellium Industrial Company Limited, Mr. Kendrick Yehowadah expressed the hope that the machines would properly be taken care of by the hospital authorities.

“Our company always tries to help the poor and the needy in our society so that we can bring positive impact to their lives and this donation forms part of it. Children are gift from God and we must protect them at all cost”, he said.

Mr. Kendrick Yehowadah further pledged that his company will also support patients who are unable to pay for their hospital bills.

“As part of our mantra which is Sharing Love and Changing Lives, we have decided to go to the aid of needy people who struggle to pay for their medical expenses as well as renovating some health facilities”, he noted.

Twellium Industrial Company Limited under the Sharing Love and Changing Lives campaign paid the cedi equivalent of $7,000 being the bill of Rhoda Akorfa Senyegbe who was diagnosed of a large left atrial myxoma , a case which was transferred to the National Cardiothoracic Center for surgical excision.

It would also be recalled that Verna Water in July 2022 constructed a canteen, a drain and a fence wall for the Kaneshie Polyclinic as part of efforts at supporting health care delivery in Ghana.

Some of the health facilities that have benefited from the Incubators and Phototherapy Machines  from Twellium Industrial Company Limited include Dominase SDA Hospital, Bekwai Municipal Hospital, Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, Hohoe District Hospital, Ga West District Hospital, Ewim Polyclinic, Tamale West Hospital and Sunyani Municipal Hospital.

Receiving the items, the Chairman for Ghana Medical Association Greater Accra Division, Dr. Med. Andrews Mensah, thanked Twellium Industrial Company Limited for the donation and expressed his optimism that the machines would be put to good use.
