There are plenty ECG Metres available so do not pass through goro boys to get it -ECG Manager

The Ablekuma District Manager for the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Engineer Samuel Andoh, has advised the public to stop passing through goro boys to get their metres.

According to him, there are plenty metres currently available at ECG offices to serve the public, stressing that it will be a total waste of money and resources to give money to goro boys to help u acquire a metre when customers can get them directly from ECG offices.

Engineer Samuel Andoh gave this advice in an interview with Peace News at a Get Together Party for the staff of ECG Ablekuma District in Accra.

He noted that, “The Electricity Company Of Ghana does not engage goro boys or third parties in selling the metres so it doesn’t make any capital sense to pass through goro boys to acquire your metres.”

“Besides, there are plenty metres available at our offices so don’t waste your money on fake people and the process to get your metres do not take much time. Maximum two weeks you would have gotten your metres”, he emphasized.
