Akwasi Aboagye: Ghanaians misunderstood my comment about Afua Asantewaa. Forgive me. I’m soo soo sorry.

Entertainment Journalist and host of Entertainment Review on Peace FM, Akwasi Aboagye has apologized to Ghanaians for the discouraging and insulting comments he passed about Afua Asantewaa.

In a post on his Facebook wall, the veteran radio presenter, issued an apology, saying that his comments were misunderstood.

”It seems to me that a comment made on radio by me prior to the start of Afua Asantewaa’s SING A THON to encourage her to stay focus has been misconstrued—probably due to the tone of my voice”, he said, in the Facebook post

Remorseful Akwasi Aboagye further added “I will therefore like to apologize to Afua Asantewaa and everyone for the comment made and any unfortunate displeasure it might have caused. Go Afua!”.

It would be recalled that Akwasi Aboagye was heard in a video (during his entertainment review program) saying that Afua Asantewaa  had a very bad voice to embark on breaking the singathon.

This statement however, did not go down well with the public as  most people expressed their disappointment and displeasure at Akwasi Aboagye, forcing him to publicly apologize.
