GOVERNMENT HAS PRINTED 1.2 MILLION COPIES OF TEXT BOOKS FOR ALL TVET SCHOOLS – DR. FRED KYEI ASAMOAH.

The Director General for Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and  Training, Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah, has disclosed that government has printed 1.2 million copies of text books for TVET Schools.

According to him, this forms part of efforts at improving and enhancing the teaching of TVET in order to create more jobs for the students after completion of school.

He further hinted that the distribution of the 1.2 million copies of the TVET Textbooks to all TVET schools, would commence soon and would be done in the next two weeks.

Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah made this disclosure when he interacted with journalists in Accra on the printing and distribution of the 1.2 million TVET Textbooks for all TVET Schools.

Dr. Fred Kyei Asamoah however warned the public and all TVET Schools that the textbooks are free to be given to the students and not to be sold to them.

“These Textbooks are a good gesture from the government to enhance the teaching and learning of TVET and must not be sold to any student. Whoever flouts this order will face the law”, he emphasized.
