Special Prosecutor Arrests Bawumia’s boy for sharing 500 cedis as Xmas gift

Information reaching NewsGhanaOnline has revealed that the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has been arrested by the Special Prosecutor for allegedly distributing money to delegates ahead of the NPP Parliamentary primaries.

The New Patriotic Party’s Asante Akim Central constituency secretary, Felix Amakye in an interview with Akosua Ago Aboagye on Peace FM’s 6PM News, said the sharing of money was brought to the attention of the Special Prosecutor by Nkansah’s rival for the Asante Akim Central parliamentary seat, Kwame Anyimadu Antwi who is the sitting MP.

“The shocking part of the whole issue is the fact that Hon. Anyimedu also shared 300 cedis to all the delegates but he has the effrontery to report Kofi Ofosu Nkansah who gave 500 cedis to the delegates as Christmas gifts. We shall see if he can win the primaries”, he fumed.

After the report was made, Mr. Nkansah was taken into custody and subsequently transported to his office in Accra to assist in ongoing investigations.

Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah popularly known as footsoldiers president happens to be the main contender to the sitting Member of Parliament, Hon. Anyimedu.
