Information reaching NewsGhanaOnline has revealed that Lawyer Maurice Ampaw- legal counsel for NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman (Chairman Wontumi) has boldly stated that Ashanti Chiefs are top class womanizers.
According to him, these chiefs who have also been selling lands to different people are only interested in sleeping with married women and peoples girlfriends.
Speaking on his regular Sunday Evening show on Wontumi TV in Kumasi, lawyer Maurice Ampaw warned the chiefs to stop insulting Chairman Wontumi.
“Those chiefs insulting Chairman Wontumi should stop fooling and help Otumfuo to fix the numerous problems in the Ashanti Region. How dare you attack Wontumi when your only interest is sleeping with married women and peoples girlfriends”, he fumed.
He further hinted that “Most of you chiefs are heavily involved in galamsey and selling of lands to different people. You guys should shut up and leave chairman Wontumi”.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw made these disclosures after Chairman Wontumi is said to have insulted Asantehene and made derogatory comments about the Ashanti Kingdom.
The New Patriotic Party(NPP) regional chairman, Wontumi has gone into hiding for weeks after passing those comments which has caused the Kumasi Traditional Council to issue a one-week ultimatum for NPP to produce their regional chairman or face their wrath.
